GENERAL INFORMATION
These General Booking Terms and Conditions are for the purpose of reservations made remotely via computer network on the website www.ciprianishouse.it belonging to Cipriani’s House based in Lungarno del Tempio, 34, Florence. Each booking operation will be governed by the provisions of DLgs. 70/03 (Implementation of Directive 2000/31/EC on certain legal aspects of information society services in the internal market, with particular reference to electronic commerce), DLgs. 206/2005(Consumer Code), DLgs. 196/03 (Personal Data Protection Code) and the Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS
Reservations on www.ciprianishouse.it are considered completed when the reservation order is received by Cipriani’s House and the latter accepts it. Cipriani’s House will send, promptly, to the customer the receipt of the reservation order made. By electronically submitting his or her reservation, the customer declares that he or she has read and accepted these general terms and conditions and undertakes to observe and comply with them in his or her dealings with Cipriani’s House.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Cipriani’s House, pursuant to Art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, informs that the personal, fiscal and business data, provided by the interested parties, even verbally, or otherwise acquired during the business relationships established, will be processed in compliance with the regulations referred to and customers may at any time exercise the rights, recognized to them by Article 7 Legislative Decree. 196/2003.
The Customer is required, before submitting a booking order, to read these general terms and conditions carefully; submission of the purchase order implies full knowledge and acceptance of them. Finally, the Customer is obliged, once the online booking procedure is completed, to print and keep these general conditions of sale, which have already been viewed and accepted during the conclusion of the contract.
By submitting an online order, the customer transmits to Cipriani’s House a proposal for a reservation, accepting the relevant price, as well as the terms of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Cipriani’s House will notify the Client of acceptance and confirmation of the reservation, only after obtaining an ID (and passport if from outside the EU) of each person staying during the reservation. Documents should be emailed to ciprianishouse@gmail.com within 2 days of the start of the reservation. If these documents are not received, the reservation will be cancelled and the full amount of the stay will be withheld.
MODE OF RESERVATION
The customer makes the reservation, the features of which are explained online in the relevant descriptive and technical sheets, at the price indicated therein.The total cost of the reservation is summarized before the reservation is submitted. Once the booking order has been forwarded, the customer will receive an e-mail message from Cipriani’s House confirming receipt of the booking order and containing information on the main features of the booking, details of the price, applicable taxes and means of payment, as well as a reference to the general terms and conditions and information about the existence of the right of withdrawal, the conditions and methods of its exercise displayed on the site.
PAYMENT
The customer can make the payment due by choosing one of the following methods:
- Payment by bank transfer: Payment by bank transfer is completed, using the following details:

- Payment via STRIPE platform – https://stripe.com/it/legal/ssa
- Payment by PAYPAL – https://www.paypal.com/it/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full
I. In case the payment is made by bank transfer, the reservation will be confirmed as soon as Cipriani’s House has collected the price (indicatively: within two / five days after the transfer order). The customer, to facilitate the process, may send the payment receipt together with the order number by e-mail to: ciprianishouse@gmail.com
RECESS
The cancellation policy provides a full refund of payment, only if the request is made no later than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. In case of cancellation less than 30 days before the arrival date, the full amount of the stay will be withheld as a penalty.

The customer will be contacted for clarification within 3 (three) working days of the request.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
All disputes relating to this contract shall be referred to a conciliation attempt at the Mediation Body of the Florence Chamber of Commerce and resolved according to the Conciliation Rules adopted by it. If the Parties intend to take the matter to the ordinary Judicial Authority, the competent Court shall be that of the place of residence or elective domicile of the consumer, mandatory under Art. 33, paragraph 2, letter u) cons. cod.
This contract is governed by Italian law.
